Review of For Your Eyes Only (1981) by Jordan S — 17 Dec 2012
Roger Moore's best Bond movie. He drops some of the witty replies and plays it tough in this one. He is on the hunt for an encryption device before it falls into enemy hands. He must also contend with a beautiful woman out to avenge her parent's murder and the affections of a young impressionable ice skater. Not to mention all the assasins and enemy agents who are on his trail. Loaded with sensational stunts and exciting action scenes. This is clearly Moore's best work in the series and one of the better Bond films to boot. Top notch song by Sheena Easton too.
Bond: "That's detente, comrade. You don't have it, I don't have it".
