Review of For the Bible Tells Me So (2007) by Josh H — 21 Feb 2009
I don't believe you can take the Bible literally ... if you do, then I think there are some major issues to be taken up. It was written by men from a completely different time/culture and one needs to take that into account before they decide where to place their judgment.
It's sad to see religion used as a weapon to oppress people (SEE: Slaves, women etc.) even in the 21st century. Some things just never go out of style.
