A movie that's probably not that good, but that gets five stars because it mashes up two of my favourite things: baseball and sappy love stories.
And it does a great job of showing why baseball is the greatest sport: because it is the penultimate sports metaphor for life. Watch it as that metaphor and not a silly love story with average performances, and you'll give it five stars too!
