Review of For Here or to Go? (2017) by Hrishikesh A — 31 Mar 2017
First and for most. Amazing actors and cast. What a performance. There was great deal of attention to detail in this movie. Hats off to the director Rucha.
Even though the topic of immigration gets boring in general, the movie depicts it with humor, fun, bollywood masala and great visuals. I feel the movie is not just for Indians in Immigration limo, its for every one in the country Americans, Whites, Indians to understand a completely different life that legal Immigrants have to live. Instead of Americans, always criticizing legal immigrants for taking away their jobs, this movie sincerely depicts the other side of the coin. And most importantly resonates the feelings of most Indian Americans like me who are frustrated with the US immigration restrictions and pains and are thinking about moving back to India. Hats off! for bringing this topic to main stream :).
