I was completely blown away, by this story, by Tylers directing, and by all of the actors delivery. EVERY actress owned their part, there was no bad actress in here. They all had fair screen time and poured their hearts and souls into their lines and poems.
The top 5 actresses in this movie are 5.Thandie Newton, 4. Macy Gray, 3. Loretta Devine, 2. Janet Jackson, 1. Kimberly Elise. If 3 of these women dont get Golden Globe or Oscar consideration somethings seriously wrong.
More than likely if you or any reviewer dont like the movie, you probably couldnt get it or get into it. Because this movie can take you on a wild emotional ride if you let it. But alas theres people against this movie and Tyler so their going to watch it and judge anything they can to keep it down.
Im not even that much of a fan of his work but I hope he wins an Oscar for this only so it can piss off the reviewers trying to keep this masterpiece down.
