Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Jim M — 10 Sep 2008
Two rival bounty hunters (Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef) team up to track down the pyschotic bandit El Indio (Gian Maria Volonte). Another classic western from Sergio Leone with Eastwood playing his typical "strong silent type" that made him famous, the real stars of this are Volonte as the bandit (he has this spooky, crazy look in his ears that lets you know he's ether a genius, a madman or both).
Of course Leones direction is good (better then in A Fistful of Dollars) and Ennio Morricone offers up another brilliant score.
