Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Ryan T — 22 May 2010
A very good western and a great follow-up to "A Fistful of Dollars". Story is fairly simple, as with most westerns, but it is done very well here. I also liked the idea of putting the two lead guys together to fight the bad guys instead of them fighting each other.
All the gunfights looked very good and the last stand-off between Mortimer and Indio was very cool. As for the acting, it was actually quite better than the first movie. Clint Eastwood once again makes the character of The Man With No Name.
Lee Van Cleef is also exceptional as Mortimer and Gian Maria Volont is great as the villain, El Indio.
