Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Arun H — 28 Jul 2010
Every movie trilogy has one that is not as appreciated as the others. In the "Dollars" trilogy it's For a Few Dollars More, which from the title alone, sounds like a cheap knock-off designed to milk more money from the movie-going public. It's anything but. The most psychological of the three, it plays on the revenge aspect over the bounty killer side. Gian Maria Volanti performance is surely one of the most desperatly unhinged villians in cinema history.
Brilliant performances from Clint and Lee Van Cleef as well as Volanti make this an epic to savour.
