Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Carl H — 10 Jan 2012
This is my most favourite Western ever, directed by the brilliant Sergio Leone. It stars the cool Man with No Name (Clint Eastwood), who in this is up against bounty hunter Col Douglas Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef), to capture dastardly bandit Indio (Gian Maria Volontè) dead or alive for a massive reward.
Full of the best gun fights, shoot outs and stand offs, in a vibrant world full of gangs and twisted strangers. The film also has an incredible music score from Ennio Morricone. This is Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone at their best.
