80s cheese with sugar on top, but that nothing bad here, its the 80s, its all here, underneath it all is a tale of repressed kids in a town where dancing has been outlawed, but newboy bacon shakes things up, I put off this film for years just thinking it be a dull 80s teen film, but it has interesting things in it, bacon is fantastic and that 80s soundtrack is very worthy.

great to see a young up and coming chris penn, he was great too.
