Review of Fool's Gold (2008) by Jonathan P — 08 Sep 2010

This is an all-around fun movie. For starters, it's got Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. Add in action, comedy, and put all that on a tropical island and you've got a winning combination! This film had me smiling from the beginning-- the first 10 minutes has one of the funniest opening scenes I've seen in a long time! Donald Sutherland also guest-stars, and he is hilarious.

There's nothing groundbreaking about Fool's Gold-- it's just a solid piece of entertainment. And sometimes, that's exactly what you need!
