Review of Following (1999) by Gavin S — 15 Oct 2010
Like so many of Nolan's movies, you spend most of the movie trying to figure out how everything relates ant the true relationships of the characters. Unlike future films, where Nolan perfects the art of a twist ending, this one, while having a great idea, wasn't executed as well as his future films.
The limited ($6,000) budget also shows through, though that such a solid movie could be made from such a low budget also shows the brilliance of Nolan.
