Review of Flying Leathernecks (1951) by Josiah S — 28 Jul 2008
This movie was very far ahead of it's time as far as war movies go. The cinematography of the older war movie just can't be beat due to the possibilities of splicing in actual documentary footage with the shots, Flying Leathernecks does a marvelous job doing just that.
The acting is superb throughout, the script flows beautifully and the plot is right on! A MUST SEE for all war movie buffs!
