Review of Flyboys (2006) by Noname — 18 Dec 2014
After exams, the history class in high school are watching Flyboys which I never saw a dogfight movie before. I can see why the history teacher like this, but for me, I just find it all right. The acting is decent, and James Franco is great in it.
The story was just there, and the characters are a bit forgettable. It's really slow to which it is just boring. The best part of the film, are the battle scenes. But even for that though, it's just decent, and is not that exciting until the final battle.
The chemistry between Blaine and Lucienne is nice, and the result of it is actually very effective and wouldn't think that it'll happen. Flyboys is a forgettable movie that has good things in it, but just was too boring for me to get invested in.
