Review of Flowers in the Attic (1987) by Edwin T — 23 Jun 2010
I will probably say this a hundred more times in my life but read the book and it will probably be okay to skip the movie. It actually wasn't too bad for the eighties when it was released. When I say I love old movies I mean the old classics and more often then not I skip the movies from the 80s because I find the acting to be awful and the movies themselves a lower quality. But this wasn't too bad, but I would still recommend the book over this movie.
"Though it's been many years since I last saw it, I'll always remember that even my first impression was one of fear and wonder. My childhood was soon to be lost, my innocence shattered, and all our dreams destroyed by what we would find within.".
