Review of Flowers in the Attic (1987) by Shane M — 21 Sep 2008
It's hard to believe this twisted tale of incest and child neglect was required reading for high school students when I was in school. Governor Palin surely would have removed this book from that list.
The story is pretty straight forward--monsterous grandmother, and selfish daughter lock their children in the attic hiding them from the world.
