Meryl is absolutely Meryl in this- totally committed, captivating, amazing. When she sings, seeing the audience react was a treat to see: it was almost like we were seeing the performance live it was that powerful (and painful haha!).

A solid cast all around. I was new to Florence's story, and I'm thankful that I was introduced to it by this film. The ending seemed a little abrupt, and the characters felt like they still had a few bars of music left to play out, but otherwise, I really inspiring tale of an authentic positive person.
