Why do we love Meryl Streep? Perhaps, she has become a master of her craft and raised the bar for excellence in acting. Her roles also take a significant step in women empowerment which changed the course of storytelling in Hollywood. In fact, she broke her own record for most Oscar nominations with "Florence Foster Jenkins." And after a watch of the movie, we could definitely say why she's both genius and queen.

Streep stars as Jenkins, an aspiring opera singer and heiress who dreams of performing at the famous Carnegie Hall. But there's one problem, she's not a great singer. Sure, Streep has all the singing chops as what she has shown in "Into the Woods" and "Ricki and the Flash." But what makes her even more amazing is that she's great at pretending to be bad.

It's a well-balanced story that combines the tones of comedy, love story and drama with a humongous amount of respect to Mrs. Jenkins. We also recognize the 1940 high society of New York fostered by eccentric set pieces - from fabulous antiques down to expensive knickknacks. The film is inspiring and uplifting, as it ends with a message of compassion and courage to never give up.

VERDICT: Streep is indeed a virtuoso in her craft as she hits all of the right stuff, and in this case, notes.
