Review of Floating Weeds (1959) by Ricardo V — 02 Jul 2007
A film of great sincerity (which is not a surprise coming from Ozu). It's a simple tale about a theme he deals with a lot: the situations which arise as one gets older. How you have to deal with things late in life and how the way you deal with these things make you the person you are.
it's about evolution and resolution.
