Review of Flipped (2010) by Heartland T — 08 Aug 2010
"Flipped" is a touching story of adolescence that reminds us of how complicated and confusing the lives of children can be. The importance of valuing character and substance was incorporated into the story simply but without being overdone or preachy.
With emphasis on empathy for others, the importance of loving relationships, positive communication, and doing the right thing when it is easier not to, this film is "greater than the sum of its parts.
" I look forward to sharing it with my son and daughter. - Lisa, a Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award Jury Member.
