Rob Reiner is a dude who made actual movies, movies with an interest in being engaging and unique and entertaining. Spinal Tap was a groundbreaking mockumentary. Princess Bride helped turn the fantasy genre on its head.
When Harry Met Sally and Stand By Me were incredibly personal and relatable. Few Good Men is fast-paced and wonderfully written. Flipped, on the other hand, is nothing but an emotional trainwreck that takes a unique structure conceit and goes nowhere with it.
