Quite good. Did not fill me with nostalgia for the Red Balloon as I had anticipated, but still... I was alone in the theater except for an elderly Chinese couple. Was hoping to get their opinion after, but they darted out.
No one likes to hang out and talk about it after... thats what I get for going to Film School. Much like the eponymous ballon, this film floated a bit over my head.. either I missed a little something or something small was missing, but the film did not completely show itself to me.
Hsien has been a recent must-watch for me, so I indulged in this recent addition. It's def. no Millenium Mambo.
