Films are meant to be entertaining. I am a lover for subtle films with long, lingering shots, but this was pushing it. If you enjoy films that give you a 2hr glimpse of everyday life and dialogue in all of its uneventful glory (real time shots of people making food!), then maybe.
Otherwise, avoid this. I give it a 2 only for Juliette Binoche's enthusiastic acting.
