Review of Flight of the Red Balloon (2007) by Nick D — 22 Jun 2009
It dragged on too much for me. A good portion of this movie was just a red balloon floating, with piano in the background. And I fell asleep. But Juliette Binoche is an astounding actress and she made the movie what it is for me, portraying the frustration of her situation so well.
The movie was a glimpse, a snapshot into this small family's life. I also loved how naturally the characters played off each other.
