Flight. A movie about a plane crash? Yes but also no. After the brutally realistic crash right at the start follows a movie about the pilot. Denzel Washington is great as an alcoholic who is struggling to hold his life together, and even though the character is in some ways unlikeable he is captivating.
It keeps you watching, as the case about the crash closes in is as tense as any thriller. An interesting and well made movie with a star lead performance.
