A well acted, tightly directed story of one man's battle with his inner demons & addictions set against the backdrop of a civil aircraft disaster. Denzel Washington brings his usual screen gravitas to the movie as an alcoholic, drug addled pilot who performs an amazing, heroic feat and the character study of Captain Whip is more interesting that the overall plot of the movie.
