Review of Fletch (1985) by Jack W — 14 Nov 2010
Standard 80's vehicle for Chevy Chase. The narrative gets rather confusing as they pull together two separate story lines seemingly out of nowhere. There are plenty of sight gags and one liners for Chase as he fits the role of Fletch as a natural.
Typical 80's soundtrack and score, very Harold Faltemeyer, very synthesized. It was rather interesting seeing numerous actors in bit roles knowing they would later do more, like Geena Davis and George Wendt.
