Review of Flatliners (1990) by Davy F — 13 Aug 2008
A surprising entertaining psychological horror/thriller film about five medical students who decide to cheat death, but in their actions create a "What has science done?" predicament that ends up putting the group in danger.
Although the movie occasional shows some late 80s cheese (being made in 1990) The script is solid enough to tell a story and the set design and camera work are really good, plus it manages to create a feeling of suspense without cutting off any limbs or massive amounts of blood like most horror movies today.
Go see.
