I finally saw this movie for the first time last week and I now understand why it's such an iconic film in the dance genre. It just makes me wish I was coordinated! Wow. I was blown away by the choreography and I'm already an 80s music junkie, so that was great. And I finally get all the jokes on TV shoes and commercials that pertain to this movie! :).
I really enjoyed it. The story was pretty typical of a dance movie, but no one really expects anything more. As long as the dancing is worth it. Not quite as good as Dirty Dancing, but almost. :).
