I can't help it. I fell in love with this movie as a teenager. I love the music and the dancing. Of course the stage was way too small and I have no idea how a dumpy bar like that could ever afford such a sophisticated lighting and sound system.
What young girl doesn't want to have an older handsome charming man to depend on? It's a fairy tale come true.
