Review of Flash Point (2007) by Daniel B — 15 Mar 2008
A Hong Kong cop-drama with a light hearted edge. Donnie Yen - who know does MMA in his movies. WTF? - is a cop trying to take down a very dodgy bunch of bastards.
Louis Koo is undercover is one of their members, but slips up and blows his cover and the events that follow turn the movie in a pretty fast-paced action flick.
Some great scenes and nasty moments. Great characters too and the end scene is pretty exhilarating. Overall though, there's plenty better Hong Kong action out there, though this is worth seeing if you haven't had a fix in a while. Donnie Yen is obviously awesome, as always.
