I saw the Iwo Jima Memorial the day before I watched this for the second time. I absolutely loved it! I was happy to get a really good history lesson, obviously with some writing liberties of course. But it seemed pretty accurate from what I can tell.
My only gripe is how much blasphemy was in the film.
