Review of Flags of Our Fathers (2006) by Matt Y — 11 Feb 2009
Gripping film. Triumphant and sad all at the same time. Makes one appreciate the sacraficies of soldiers both on and off the field of battle. Another successful epic by Eastwood. Also good to see a number of actors from "Saving Private Ryan" (Pepper) and "Band of Brothers" (McDonough) get another nod to play soldiers.
