A great war film. Shows a new side of the American fight in WWII. Great cast and a interesting story behind the famous picture of American soldiers raising the flag. Clint Eastwood directs this film very well.
You can see footage from this film and match to the movie Letters from Iwo Jima during the battle scenes. I would suggest watching either film back to back to catch this. Adam Beach stood out as the best actor from the film.
He was very good in his role. I thought everyone in the film did a great job. Overall a great film.
