Review of Flags of Our Fathers (2006) by Chris N — 05 Jul 2009
A really interesting demonstration of the importance of military propaganda during war time. Would the war have been won without a glitzy publicity campaign founded on lies? What is a "hero"? How does one deal with Survivors' Guilt? All good questions asked by this film with answers left wide-open.
I'm starting to like Eastwood as a director now...
