It may have dragged on a little bit, but that doesn't deter this film from being a great American masterpiece. Flags of Our Fathers shows us the fight at Iwo Jima and the iconic flag raising moment, but shows us a depth in the life after that moment too.
We see the psychological status from 3 of the 6 guys who raised flag (3 were killed in 40 day battle). Overall, Flags is a film to watch.
