Review of Five Minutes of Heaven (2009) by Maravilloso D — 30 Oct 2009
A strong film that deals with the themes of forgiveness and redemption. James Nesbitt and Liam Neeson both give great performances which are essentially for this type of film. The film does a great job of not picking a protagonist or antagonist, as in life, but rather just lets the viewer watch and make their own decisions.
It really gives the audience a glimpse into both of these characters making it a much stronger climax. Definitely worth checking out, and I am glad to see Oliver Hirschbiegel rebound after the disaster known as The Invasion.
