Review of Five Minutes of Heaven (2009) by John S — 22 Dec 2011
Very average if I am being honest.
Dont judge a book (or film) by its cover. This looks excellent on the outside. Britflick with Nesbitt and Neason. Dark Moody faces. Troubles. Speeches. All good film making stuff.
Except, Except it doesnt add up. It feels like this has been done before and better.
It feels like the actors are not really buying into the plot, about an ex-murderer who now looks smart and is driven around in Mercedes Benz, oh and who preaches the peace. I mean, please... Really?
Yeah so I didnt buy into it and I didnt think it was all that good. Even the fight scene at the end.
