Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Scott K — 08 Nov 2007
A great anti-establishment film about a young man who refuses to make peace with his privileged upbringing and brilliant musical talent. The torment of potential squandered. The weight of societal and familial expectations.
The comfort of ditchdigging. The infuriating search for a chicken salad sandwich. Brilliant.
