Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Jamy S — 19 Jan 2008
From Chinatown to Cuckoo's Nest to About Schmidt to The Departed, Nicholson remains, at his best, a force of nature among American actors. This neo-classic from the 2nd Golden Age (the 70s) may still be my favorite -- a devastating portrayal of a man lost to himself and the people around him.
Phenomenal.
