Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Peter F — 20 Feb 2013
A wonderfully bleak and often depressing portrait of an unlikable man who is constantly tormented by his own failings. Fantastic direction, brilliant performances and some of the best scenes in cinema make this film a classic.
Nicholson mesmerizes as a musical prodigy who seems to prefer the life of a drifter in this subtle meditation on talent squandered. According to me this is my favourite Jack Nicholson's film. A Must Watch Film.
