Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Jonny C — 05 Jan 2010
Good drama. Five Easy Pieces is about an impatient drifter, who runs away from any responsibility, and feels intellectually frustrated by everyone around him. Even though it was slightly depressing, and Nicholson's character's not very likeable, it was Jack's performance that kept me engaged.
This was a major movie in it's day, and it's one that started a new wave of counter society independent films.
