Review of Five Across the Eyes (2006) by Beverley E — 17 May 2008
This film was a mistake, somewhere along the line, the translation of filmmaking was lost, the acting painful and the concept dull and unengaging. I wouldn't be able to tell you what happened at the end, the middle or even after 20 minutes, because I refused to watch the rest of it.
Shammy acting, apalling script (if there was one). if you want to see shoestring budget amateur like filmmaking then Blair Witch is your movie, but this certainly Isn't. Not horrifying, not interesting, and after five minutes I lost all respect for the characters and was praying that something would just chut them up.
Oh and don't be decieved by the awards it has recieved, they are tactful add-ons to improve what is a diresome film.
