Review of Fitzcarraldo (1982) by Rami R — 12 Jan 2007
Watching Fitzcarraldo is to experience every pull of this insane seemingly insurmountable effort of the natives. One gets sucked further into Kinski's twisted psyche, only looking forward and allowing his vision to get blurry in every other direction.
A beautiful and hunting tale of art and obsession, the type of thesis that Herzog does best.
