Epic! Like Gone with the Wind... with a bleached blond Klaus Kinski trying to build an operahouse in the Amazon by dragging a steamboat up a hill (with no help from CGI or special effects - just a thousand or so natives).
Inspiring - and Kinski's beatific beaming erases the memory of him ranting at monkeys at the end of "Aguirre.".
