Review of Fist Fight (2017) by Bruce F — 28 Feb 2017

If you ever saw the movie Three O'clock High from the 80's, it's hard not to watch Fist Fight and not think of that movie. In that one there's a day long build up toward a fight between two high school students.

Well substitute two teachers and you basically have the same movie. This is a comedy to check out at the cheap theater, or during bargain matinee, or rent it. I had some good laughs, and enjoyed both Ice Cube and Charlie Day.

It is by no means a great movie, but it is fun. Day can get on your nerves, but Cube is spot on for this character. Also you have Jillian Bell who is the funniest she has been in a movie. My problem is the story is so far fetched, it is hard to get past.

It is as if the writers said, well we don't have to wrap this in any reality, so who cares if nothing fits. That being said, if you are a little immature like I am, you will laugh enough to enjoy a half price ticket to this thing.
