Review of First Snow (2006) by Ola G — 24 May 2008
Well, Guy Pearce is a good actor, no doubt about it. Liked him since "L.A. Confidential". But, here he struggles to try to make the best of a very so so story. He plays Jimmy Starks, a salesman that finds himself very engaged in his own destiny, after a fortune teller hints what is in the near future for him.
I kept on wondering when the plotline would actually go somewhere interesting. It does not. This movie just goes on and on, and gets really nowhere. There was no hook that pulled me in. "First Snow" will be quickly forgotten in my book.
