Review of First Man (2018) by Jackusblackus — 25 Oct 2018
Don't go into this movie thinking it is "The Right Stuff". This is a very personal story of the space program from the perspectives of Neil Armstrong and his wife, Janet. While other accounts focus on the spectacle and heroics of the Gemini and Apollo programs, this one focuses on the people and their experiences. I think it gives new insight into what it must have been like to be an astronaut.
As a side note, the sound is incredible -- I expect it to win some awards.
