This movie wants to impress, but in the end, simply bores. The characters should be able to connect, but don't. Some of the problem is with the directing, but more has to do with the thin story line. The sound effects, which adequate, don't mask the poor special effects.
I wanted to like this movie, but can't recommend it. Nothing in it you don't already know about the space program.
