Review of First Man (2018) by Robert A — 15 Oct 2018
If one likes: ten second closeups on Goslings eyes a million times, seasoned test pilots who knew what was "up" portrayed as scared neophyte astronauts , omitting the First Words spoken on the Moon, and more.
Not suitable for those of us who grew up during the Space Race and watched that Moon landing live on Black and White TV at 15 years old. Beyond disappointing, and laced with inaccuracies, purposeful omissions such as the Flag of the United States being planted there, and a distorted view of the 1960's, NASA, and all the folks involved, then by all means go.
So disappointed. At least he mentioned Russia and the USSR.
